Books Complete Me Unlimited

I love the title of this blogspot! Books complete me, too!

Then there are two sparkling reviews, one of THE BOTTICELLI AFFAIR and one of THE LOVE OF MY (OTHER) LIFE. BOTTICELLI even got an “Amazing” rating!

About BOTTICELLI, Julie had this to say:

While I may not exactly have an appreciation of art that Slatton clearly has, I do have an appreciation for a great story, and this one certainly belongs among the masterpieces….  Filled with action, and enough heat to singe without burning, The Botticelli Affair offers an amazing ride for any reader.

About THE LOVE OF MY (OTHER) LIFE, Julie wrote:

This is not your typical romance, and that was what I enjoyed most about this book.  Both Brain and Tessa grow from their experience and encounters, and I found that to be a great strength for this book.  As they learn more about each other, they discover more about themselves, and each gains an inner strength they lacked at the beginning of the story.
I recommend this book for lovers of romance with a little science fiction mixed in.  After all, who doesn’t want to read about moving worlds to find that one soulmate?

Great Review of THE LOVE OF MY (OTHER) LIFE

Review of THE LOVE OF MY (OTHER) LIFE

It’s incredibly rewarding, as an author, when a reader or reviewer GETS IT. When she or he understands what I am trying to say and do in the story I am telling. It reaffirms me and my work, it renews my sense of joy and possibility in my craft and yes, even in life. It just dazzles me with happiness.

I had such an experience reading this review of THE LOVE OF MY (OTHER) LIFE. I like this novel,  and it has garnered mixed reviews. Some reviews have been scathing. Some have been wonderful. This review at ReadingReality.Net was intelligent and thoughtful and beautifully written. It pleased me endlessly.

The story is about the incredible power of love to move, not just mountains, but actual universes, and that it is absolutely never too late for a second chance. Not even if you have to employ quantum mechanics to kick your own self in the teeth.”

COLD LIGHT REVIEW

Cold Light Review

Avid reader and blogger Rebeca Skane reviewed COLD LIGHT on Seacoast Online. She’s a smart, careful reader and had great things to say. Here’s my favorite quote:

Slatton displays exceptional storytelling abilities in Cold Light by weaving fragments together at the end in a way that was delightfully unforeseen.  And her poetic prose spirit the reader away into complete submersion.  She also leaves a few mysteries behind to make you ache for the third book.” Seacoast Online Blogs

See the whole Cold Light review here.

For a few days, the review will be on the front page of Seacoast Online.

NEWSFLASH FOR MY READERS:  THE AFTER SERIES WILL BE REISSUED WITH NEW COVERS WITH THE PUBLICATION OF BOOK 3 FAR SHORE IN SEPTEMBER!

Lunar Haven Reviews and Designs also posted a review of FALLEN, giving this first book in the After Series 5 Crescents, saying:

Fallen is by far one of the best reads that I have had the chance to dive into this year. I recommend this book for those who love post-apocalyptic adventure and romance. I can not wait to continue the series and I thank Traci L. Slatton and the publisher, Parvati Press, for allowing me to read and review Fallen. I hope everyone enjoys the book as much as I did!
