BELLAONLINE REVIEW

Bellaonline

Rich, lively, informative Bellaonline.org, which calls itself “The voice of women,” has given FALLEN a wonderful review. Check it out here, and note the good words:

Fallen has a very vivid world populated with interesting characters. … All in all, I enjoyed watching the characters develop in their new world, especially seeing the children mature and find their own places among the survivors…. In the backdrop of a ruined society, the characters shine through, trying to make the most of their new world and find their place in it.”
My Recommendation
While Fallen by Traci Slatton is not a deeply philosophical (or dark) look at the apocalypse, it is a nice read. In the backdrop of a ruined society, the characters shine through, trying to make the most of their new world and find their place in it.

Jenny O., one of the vampchix at sexy Bite Club, gave FALLEN a great review. The site is a blast to visit, with plenty of eye candy! And check out what they said about my novel.
This was an interesting book. I never knew what was going to happen from one chapter to the next. The whole time reading I kept thinking I had it figured out and then something would change. I liked how the relationships among the survivors were played out. They were all trying to keep themselves safe as well as work somewhat together to continue the human race…. It made me think about what would really happen if this story became true. Would people work together or would we naturally segregate ourselves into groups to feel safe. There were also some unexpected secrets on the part of the two main characters that really threw me for a loop and made the book that much better. I really think that this book would be best for high school age and older readers, it deals with mature topics that are best suited for the more world experienced reader. All in all this is a great read!!

This riotously fun site gave my novel FALLEN a great review:

Fallen is very different than her other novel, The Botticelli Affair. She’s a skilled and versatile author.

This is a story of survival and human connectedness. The setting feels very different than where we are now, but the human components of love and the will to survive and help others are very human. As I entered their world, I found myself wondering how I would react in the same situations.

The book will appeal to men and women. It stands alone as a good read, but is also set up perfectly for the next 2 books in the trilogy.”
