FAR SHORE
An old enemy wreaks new havoc at the end of the world…
After the mists’ lethal apocalypse, mankind’s only hope for survival lies broken and battered, the prisoner of a ruthless sociopath who will stop at nothing to hurt him. Emma sets out to rescue him. She faces an ultimatum and must relinquish everything she holds dear.
As Arthur teeters on the brink of life and death, Emma’s healing ability fails. Her own despair tests her, and she must grow stronger than she ever dreamt possible as she confronts the truth of her own heart.

In a time of apocalyptic despair, love is put to the test…
A mystical odyssey, a haunting love…

A blogpost I wrote for Escape Reality, Read Fiction blog was syndicated over to SUVUDU, which is a huge and very lively sci-fi site. Great news–more potential readers reached! The posting was “Why I Write Science Fiction.” Take a peek here on its original site or here on Suvudu.

Pebble in the Still Waters blog interviewed me, and I loved the list of canny, insightful questions, which caused me some delicious introspection.

Here are two of the questions:

What four top most things you take care of while writing a book?
Good question. Character development; plot points; diction; and suspense: keeping the stakes high.
Your dream destination on Earth?
Depends on the day. Sometimes it’s the Italian sea coast. Sometimes it’s Cape Cod. Sometimes Paris or Rome.

Here is that interview.

Sprightly Book-Loving blog hosted my essay on “Getting to Know My Characters.” Here is that little article.

My Fiction Nook, which urges us to “escape to the pages of a book” (my favorite escape!) shined an author spotlight on me, and asked my about my characters. Here is that spotlight.

So many blogs, so much to enjoy!

Great Review of THE LOVE OF MY (OTHER) LIFE

Review of THE LOVE OF MY (OTHER) LIFE

It’s incredibly rewarding, as an author, when a reader or reviewer GETS IT. When she or he understands what I am trying to say and do in the story I am telling. It reaffirms me and my work, it renews my sense of joy and possibility in my craft and yes, even in life. It just dazzles me with happiness.

I had such an experience reading this review of THE LOVE OF MY (OTHER) LIFE. I like this novel,  and it has garnered mixed reviews. Some reviews have been scathing. Some have been wonderful. This review at ReadingReality.Net was intelligent and thoughtful and beautifully written. It pleased me endlessly.

The story is about the incredible power of love to move, not just mountains, but actual universes, and that it is absolutely never too late for a second chance. Not even if you have to employ quantum mechanics to kick your own self in the teeth.”
